| configuring columns in the 'web part' I added the task list widget to the project's front page, but by default it only displays the task Title and 'Assigned to'. I would like it to also display Due date, so that tasks could be sorted by Due date. I haven't been able to figure out how to configure this...
btw, great book. I was able to start working on PMIS system for my ongoing project right away. | Anya | |

The way to display "Due Date" is to use custom views. This is discussed in Chapter 7. To do this:
1. From the home page, click "Site Actions | Edit Page"
2. From the Tasks web part click "edit | Modify Shared Web Part"
3. From the task pane on the right, under selected view, click "Edit Current View"
4. From the Columns section, check the Due Date Box
5. Click OK
6. Click Exit Edit mode
You should be good to go. Let me know if it worked. Lastly, it's good to know that you are enjoying the book. I would appreciate it if you can provide a review of the book at O'Reilly.com or Amazon.com
